Summary
A controlled study evaluated apple-branch wood vinegar for inhibiting seed germination and controlling several weed species. Responses varied substantially by species, concentration, application rate and light conditions, with herbicidal effects generally requiring much higher concentrations or spray volumes than typical biostimulant use.
