Using Wood Vinegar in Broadacre Cropping
PyroAg Wood Vinegar can be incorporated at different stages of a broadacre cropping program, from seed treatment and planting through to foliar application during crop development. The most appropriate method will depend on the crop, growth stage and intended use.
Seed Treatment
Applied prior to sowing, introducing Wood Vinegar at the earliest stage of crop establishment where it may support germination, early plant development and nutrient availability.
In-Furrow Application
Applied at planting to place Wood Vinegar within the developing root zone, where it may support soil biological activity and nutrient availability during early crop establishment.
Foliar Application
Applied through established spray programs during crop development, providing an opportunity to support plant growth, nutrient use and overall crop performance.
For general applications, PyroAg recommends lower rates applied more regularly rather than infrequent high-rate applications, with a maximum application frequency of approximately every two weeks.
